Aprila, 2010 godine a 1.
Encouragement to Give in Charity for the Building of Masaajid
In the Name of Allaah, ar-Rahmaan (Most Merciful), ar-Raheem (Bestower of Mercy).
All praise is due to Allaah. The salutations and peace be upon our Prophet, the seal of the Prophets and the Imaam of the pious; and upon his family and his Companions, and those who follow them precisely till the Day of Resurrection. To proceed:…
Indeed the masaajid are from the most excellent of affairs for which wealth is donated, and for which the reward is perpetual, for indeed its reward is continuous, varied and manifold. This is because the Muslims worship Allaah within them (the Masaajid) by way of the salaat and other than that. In it is the worshiper, and the one who recites Quraan, and the one who studies knowledge and other than this. The Muslims benefit by way of them by seeking shade from the heat and comfort from the cold.
The Islamic Foundation of Greater St Louis, Inc. (IFGSTL) is a non-profit organization established in 1974 and registered in Saint Louis, Missouri. We serve the local community with a variety of services including regular congregational prayers, educational programs, workshops, burial preparations, as well as social events in accordance to the teachings of Islam. Our doors are open to the public throughout the year and we receive regular group visits and tours from schools, colleges, universities and institutions seeking to learn more about Islam or conduct research for projects.
The Foundation can accommodate 1,000 worshippers downstairs in the main hall and we hold two Friday congregational prayers. The women’s prayer hall can accomodate about 500. Our Friday prayers are very well-attended and the masjed is a hub of activity during Ramadan and Eid festivals. Iftar is served every night of Ramadan. Eid prayers are held off-site and in 2015, we held two sessions to accommodate a growing and vibrant Muslim population.
We operate two masajed under our umbrella including Daar-ul-Islam in West County and Masjed Bilal (where our story started) downtown. We also operate a House of Goods for the needy as well as a funeral home on the same location as Daar-ul-Islam.
Last but not least, we have a full-time accredited school associated with IFGSTL, K-12. Check out alsalamds.org
Please note our facility is ADA compliant. We welcome you to our community in St.

Nation of Islam History
Welcome to the official website of Muhammad Mosque #28 (MM #28). We operate under the leadership and guidance of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan with the sole purpose of establishing peace in our surrounding communities.
On July the Fourth, the day of America’s Independence celebration, He announced the beginning of His mission which was to restore and to resurrect His lost and found people, who were identified as the original members of the Tribe of Shabazz from the Lost Nation of Asia. The lost people of the original nation of African descent, were captured, exploited, and dehumanized to serve as servitude slaves of America for over three centuries. His mission was to teach the downtrodden and defenseless Black people a thorough Knowledge of God and of themselves, and to put them on the road to Self-Independence with a superior culture and higher civilization than they had previously experienced.
He taught us the ways of love and peace, of truth and beauty. We are being led into the path of a new spiritual culture and civilization of complete harmony and peace, one of refinement in the pursuit of happiness and eternal joy in the Supreme Knowledge of God and the Science of everything in life.
