Nachomamas Tex Mexican Restaurants-St.Louis

Welcome to Nachomama's Tex-Mex restaurant located at 9643 Manchester Road in downtown Rock Hill. Founded by John & Nancy St. Eve in 1994, we have been serving the greater
Saint Louis community for nearly two decades with authentic Tex-Mex recipes made from the freshest of ingredients. It has always been our mission to serve delicious, affordable and original dishes like our sizzling fajitas, generous tacos and burritos, or juicy rotisserie chicken, all served with heaping plate-fulls of Spanish rice, fresh beans and homemade salsa.

"This colorful Rock Hill eatery offers some of the best Tex-Mex food in the area, and the freshly made salsa — available in mild, medium and farewell-to-taste-buds — is the perfect complement to absolutely anything on the menu." - River Front Times

"Traditional Tex-Mex offerings have won over locals, who consistently award the restaurant honors, including the city's best fish burrito and best quesadilla. "They love Tex-Mex there," says Butel, who recalls the city was one of the top markets for her television cooking show. "This (restaurant) is just fun, plus the food is really, really good. They have pretty traditional flavors, but with a little bit of a different twist." - USA TODAY

Mayana Mexican Kitchen-St.Louis

About Mayana Mexican Kitchen

The story of Mayana Mexican Kitchen begins with Norberto Rodriguez, a true visionary and pioneer in the St. Louis restaurant industry.

Norberto immigrated to St. Louis from Mexico in 1950 when he was only 17 years old. After spending years working his way up in the St. Louis restaurant industry, he finally fulfilled his life long dream of opening his own restaurant in 1964. It was a modest diner with only 18 seats but the crowds gathered around the block and eventually Norberto began integrating the traditional Mexican food that he grew up on into the menu. The feedback was so overwhelming that he decided to open Hacienda in 1968, one of the first Mexican restaurants in the Midwest.

Hacienda was a resounding success from day one; diners came from the metropolitan area and beyond to experience Hacienda’s unique food, warm hospitality and festive atmosphere. Hacienda quickly grew to become one of the largest independent restaurants in the Midwest and a true St. Louis landmark with over 500 seats, a full-service catering company, thriving retail foods business and recently formed charitable organization.

Mayana Mexican Kitchen was founded as a new, modern way to offer customers the tastes and hospitality that made Hacienda famous by staying true to Norberto’s “fundamentals” of a passion for Mexican food and commitment to providing the best possible guest experience.
